David, among other things, is a writer and freelance Flash developer. In the past he has co-authored several books in the popular Flash Magic series, as well as technical editing the recent ActionScript: The Complete Reference title for Osborne McGraw-Hill. David also writes for publications such as CNET Builder.com, InformIT, Shift Online and Australian Personal Computer. He has recorded a set of Flash MX training videos, available from www.cmtraining.com.au and delivered advanced ActionScript seminars for clients including Macromedia Asia Pacific.

MR DANNY FRANZREB

Danny operates taobot.com, an award-winning studio that specializes in interactive design and application development. Although studying economics and information technology, he has kept a vivid passion and drive for design. Being able to build what he designs and vice versa, exploration in both directions is what he enjoys most.

During the last year, Danny worked on projects for high-class clients such as Smirnoff and was honoured with the official design-award of his country as much as with awards that are given by our community like Macromedia Website of the Week.

Currently residing in Alsheim Germany, he has become a frequent writer and speaker on the topic of Flash development, which gives him the possibility to meet inspiring people all over the world. In his spare time, Danny has great fun with BD4D, serves as a moderator for the Flashkit forums and explores new grounds on his website.

MS SAS JACOBS

Sas is a Flash and ASP Developer based in Perth, Western Australia. She runs her own business, - focusing on web development and training. You can find out more by visiting the Anything Is Possible web site - http://www.aip.net.au

Sas started life with qualifications in accounting and human resource management but fell in love with web development in the mid 1990s. She has been working with Flash since version 3 and loves the potential of Flash MX in developing rich media applications.

An experienced presenter and trainer, Sas recently contributed three articles on actionscripting to the book Flashkit.com, Macromedia Flash Development Goodies. She presented sessions on application development and actionscripting at the inaugural Kinetic Flash conference in 2002.

Sas spends her weekends playing music in a trio and is passionate about travel which gives her the chance to indulge another of her passions, photography.



MR FILIPPO GREGORETTI

Filippo is a Flash Developer who founded Forteyang, based in Rome, Italy. He is also CEO of Alpha Channel Interactive Ltd. He founded his studio in Stokholm in 1994. After that he moved to Rome (due to incompatibility with Swedish weather) where he created Alpha Channel Interactive and since then he has worked both as a production member and as a project leader for his company. In 2000 with a group of other IT and Design professionals, he co-founded Forteyang, the New Media Agency.

After graduation in Fine Arts and Animation at the ICEI in Rome, he got deeper in his passion for visual, music and technology moving into Multimedia.

During the past 8 years, Filippo has coordinated and designed the production of several Web Sites, CD-Roms, Network Communication Environments and Content Management Systems, both for his companies and international clients. He has knowledge of creative, networking and technical aspects of production. He often collaborates as a technical writer and also teaches New Media Production at the Istituto Europeo di Design. He was involved in major creative projects for Europe and Abroad.



MR NG FOO KEONG

By training, Ng is a mathematics teacher. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in U.K. and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Instructional Design & Technology from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore). He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of education, having taught mathematics and computer applications in Raffles Institution and engineering mathematics in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Ng is now Head (Instructional Design) at ASKnLearn.com but will soon be a freelance eLearning consultant. At ASKnLearn, his wide role include conducting internal and external training to adults as well as school-children, content planning, instructional design, customer liason, quality control, project management, and, of course, programming (including object animation, quizzes with intelligent feedback mechanisms, XML lesson- and game- templates, constructivist learning-objects). The subject areas covered in his projects include not only mathematics and physics, but other topics like national education, crime and law, internet safety. His rare combination of wide experience in pedagogy and IT skills helped bridge the communication gap between programmers and teachers, and also brought school lessons to life in a way print media is never able to.




MR PREETAM RAI

Preetam has been working with Flash for the last four years. As a teenager, he ran a small company developing animations on a Commodore 64 for cable television stations. Since then, he has developed commercial and educational simulations, games and content for clients in the region. He has also worked on a wide array of multimedia projects - interactive stories for kids, games and content for commercial and educational sites and simulations for a defence agency. He has also been actively conducting Flash workshops in China, Fiji, India and Singapore. His site at www.preetamrai.com talks about his "Flash related" and other adventures.

Currently, he is with Singapore based Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Educational R&D Centre where he is developing Flash based games and mobile applications. He also teaches some of their industry courses that cover emerging trends and content building for mobile devices.



MR VISWANATH PARAMESWARAN

Vish has been inspired by Flash for more than four years now and he has made serious headway in the Flash landscape as seen in his contributions to Flash 5 Bible & Flash MX Bible. He is also a much sought-after speaker at Flash events and have presented at San Francisco and Amsterdam's Flash Forward 2001 events and Flashkit Asia 2001.

As technical director for HyroAsia Pte Ltd, he actively pursues the potential of Flash as a Web application development tool.
