MS SHAUNA LI ROOLVINK, Founder & Managing Director: BrandHub Pte Ltd

Shauna is Founder and Managing Director of BrandHub, a brand consultancy dedicated to creating and building Leader Brands in Asia. She has over 10 years of experience in brand strategy, business strategy, market research, customer experience, and marketing strategy and planning in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to setting up BrandHub, Shauna was the lead brand strategies for the re-branding of Singapore Inc., a project she took on as a freelance consultant at another brand consultancy. As Associate Director of Brand Strategy at Interbrand, Shauna founded and managed the first Brand Strategy practice in Asia. She created the Brand Strategy Blueprint for many leading Asian brands including Osim, StarHub and Brand's and also worked with multinational clients like Motorola, DuPont, GM in Greater China and the Asia-Pac region. Shauna honed her strategy development capabilities at A.T. Kearney where she managed diverse strategy engagements for clients such as GM, Deere, ARCO, Chugai Pharmaceutical and Pacific Dunlop throughout Asia Pacific. She started her career as an Account Executive at Leo Burnett with clients including P&G, Philip Morris, United Airlines, Chase and HP. Shauna is the creator and author of Brand Leadership Matrix™ - a framework to analyze brand lifecycle and investment strategies. She contributes brand related articles regularly to The Edge Magazine as well as other leading business and marketing journals in Asia. She is also a frequent speaker at branding and marketing conferences. She obtained her MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a BS in Business Administration from USC.


MS JACQUELINE THNG, Consulting Director: Lexicon Brand Consultants

Jacqueline has over 17 years experience in brand and design consulting. As Senior Partner for LEXICON, an award-winning consultancy, she is actively involved in the areas of brand consultancy, research, strategic planning and management for all major branding programmes. Her role as strategic brand consultant is to direct and participate in the in-depth analysis of client's business and their corporate communications needs.
Major branding programmes in Jacqueline’s portfolio include the development of branding & packaging standards and marketing policy for Sara Lee Bakery; global rebranding of China Airlines; branding programmes for FairPrice encompassing several areas of brand communications including print, retail, packaging and internal staff communications; global branding for United Engineers Limited; brand audit & strategy development for Yeo's; brand naming and strategy development for Octupus Smart Card System for the consortium of MTRC/Kowloon/KCRC (Hong Kong); retail rebranding of Singapore Petroleum Company’s petroluem stations. Prior to joining LEXICON, Jacqueline was Senior Brand Consultant for UK’s leading design consultant, Addison. Jacqueline graduates as one of the top students from National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Regina, a highly energetic and passionate Growth Consultant, has spent more than 15 years in Fortune 500 corporations. She has held senior regional management roles driving internatio
nal business development and marketing of cutting-edge technologies and solutions in Asia Pacific. Regina is a seasoned business veteran in Asia Pacific with vast experience in adapting global sales and marketing strategies to build brands that sells in the marketplace. Regina has effortlessly covered both consumer and commercial markets with pioneering achievements spanning Ogilvy Direct, Kimberly Clarke, Apple Computer to Compaq, Verisign and Schlumberger. Known for being a creative realist at work, that innovative and enterprising spirit had motivated her to use those proven successes as an independent Growth Consultant to help companies achieve their business goals. Using the practical Customer-Leverage © methodology, she has helped companies realize the brand personality and customer's value proposition by using a mix of coaching, training and consulting services customised to every customer's needs.

Founded only in 2003, Discipline Dynamics Consulting Group, a regional boutique growth consultancy has an impressive regional customer base. Highly inspirational yet down to earth, she has trained more than 60 companies at executives' public workshops and 400 corporate professionals for customised programs. Energetic and passionate, she is also a sought after speaker in the sales and marketing workshop circuit. In 2004, Regina pioneered new sales and marketing public workshops targeted at Business-to-business industry at prestigious learning institutes in Singapore. Regina holds a MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull, United Kingdom (2000), Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore (1988) and MBA in Strategic Marketing from the University of Hull, UK (2000). She has also undergone an intensive Executive Development course for 'Managing Strategic Opportunities' at the prestigious Thunderbird Graduate Business School for International Management, Pennsylvania USA (1994) and the Kepnor-Tregoe ® Problem Solving and Decision Making workshop(1995).


MR CONSTANT TONG, Director - Business Development: OpenMobile Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Constant is director of business development at OpenMobile Asia Pacific which is part of OpenMobile Corporation, registered in the US and rooted in Scandinavia. OpenMobile is building a complete global network that will enable a fully efficient distribution of all wireless services, offering wireless content developers and wireless operators exciting new possibilities. The company aims to bring together operators and content providers in an open and non-exclusive environment to provide mobile value-added service users with global distribution and an information system. Registered in the United States, OpenMobileTM has acquired international funding and the backing of top veterans from Nokia, Ericsson and leading mobile operators such as Sonera (Telecom Finland) and Singapore Telecom.

Constant has been actively involved in the mobile technologies and content industry for the past 5 years. He has implemented various SMS/MMS campaigns, branded mobile games (Singapore Idols, Kung Fu Hustle), SMS TV platforms for TV stations (Singapore, Thailand) and many other mobile-related projects. A veteran in the mobile content industry, Constant is also a Director of S-Concept Wireless (www.sconceptwireless.com) – a regional mobile content distribution company that help content provider distributes their content globally (with strong focus on China market). Prior to his current positions, he also worked with Mobile React, EdgeMatrix, Abacus International and Singapore Airlines. Constant has a BSC (Computer Science) degree from National University of Singapore.



MR EUGENE CHANG, Founder & Executive Director: Pacific Fusion International PL

Eugene is the Executive Director of Pacific Fusion International Pte Ltd which he co-founded in 2000 with the intention of creating a modern lifestyle F&B concept that rewards people for making healthier food choices. Today, PFI is a leading Smoothie Franchise Creation and Management Company in Asia and is proud to be an ISO 9001:2000 certified organization. The Fuzion Smoothie Café, its flagship brand, has an international franchise network that spans Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Concurrently embracing growth through strategic partnerships, PFI has benefited from working with leading companies such as ExxonMobil, Cheers (NTUC), OSIM International and Four Leaves. PFI is passionate about its message of healthier choices and remains the only Smoothie company invited to participate in the annual Singapore Food Festival offering Smoothie Appreciation Workshops to the public, social clubs and corporate clients. MR JONATHAN BONSEY, Creative & Managing Director: The Bonsey Design Partnership PL

Jonathan started his design career with the UK’s leading exhibition designers, Robin Wade and Associates in London. He then joined Allied International Designers to concentrate upon developing Retail strategies for some of Europe’s major shopping and leisure developments. Jonathan’s responsibilities included identity design and project management of signage and identity implementation programmes. In 1984 Jonathan was appointed as Design Manager to set up Allied’s Singapore office with the mandate to service a growing number of clients in the region. When the Addison Group took over the interests of Allied, Jonathan was promoted to Creative Director with the mandate to build a self sufficient local creative team. The following year Jonathan became Managing Director of a staff that had grown to 28. In 1991 Jonathan moved to the USA as Vice President, Brand Development of Addison San Francisco where he gained experience with Quaker, General Mills, Hewlett Packard and Pacific Bell developing domestic and international strategies to introduce strong US brands into Asian markets.

In 1993 he returned to Asia to form The Bonsey Design Partnership in Singapore. Over the past 10 years BDP has built a solid reputation as one of Asia’s leading brand design companies with major national and multinational client’s spread from India to Indonesia. His firm is responsible for strategic brand identity programmes for M1, Maxis, F&N and Unilever. In 2000 he formed BrandSpeed with Jon Griffin in response to the opportunity that exists in TV and Broadband media and the need to link the online and offline worlds through focused brand design. In addition to his professional credits, Jonathan is a frequent speaker on design at the Singapore Polytechnic and the National University. He is also an EXCO member of The Designers Association of Singapore.


MR GARRY SCARBOROUGH, Vice President, Marketing - Asia Pacific: Avaya

Garry is Vice President, Marketing - Asia Pacific of Avaya. Scarborough joined the Asia Pacific Marketing team in mid-June, 2001; and is based in Avaya's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore. Scarborough leads the Asia Pacific marketing team and provides the strategic direction and leadership to the region on marketing communication, branding, channel marketing, marketing programs, GSI and alliance marketing, events, sponsorships and briefing centres. He will drive focused plans and provide marketing program leadership to meet Asia Pacific's objectives of high revenue growth and increased market share. A trained solicitor, Garry brings to Avaya 20 years of experience in the fields of marketing and sales. Prior to joining Avaya, he was the Marketing Director for Cisco Systems (Greater China) and later held the position of Marketing Director for Hitachi Data Systems, Asia Pacific. Garry received his education at the University of Sydney where he finished his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Economics). He also has an MBA (Marketing) from the London Business School.



MR KENNETH TEANG, Founder, CEO & Principal Consultant: OIG International (One Identity Group)

Kenneth is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant of OIG International. With more than a decade of global experience, he has successfully positioned organisations for strategic business growth. He ensures creative business concepts that bring value and market success to organisations through dream identity creation. He is also the creator of the revolutionary Environmental Identity concept. Kenneth's provides invaluable consulting expertise ranging from business strategy, identity creation, brand valuation and brand management, to a diverse industry clientele, including both local and international MNC's/SME's. Results are extremely important to him and all consultancy rendered by OIG International must be performance driven. As a renowned consultant, Kenneth has been engaged by established MNC's such as FedEx, Logitech, Mentor Graphics, Kimberly-Clark to provide consultancy and advice on a diverse range of business management issues. These clients include Miele (a 105 years old German MNC's entire South-East Asian showroom network), Rosenthal (120 yrs old) for their entire range of Rosenthal, Bulgari, Versace, Hutschen-Reuther & Thomas brands, kzo Nobel (200 yrs old MNC for their internal Brand Management Training for the international team.

In the SEA Region, Kenneth has successfully advised and positioned a number of homegrown organisations to embark on international expansion while consistently maintaining sustained growth. Among them are SingTel, Asia Pacific Breweries, Shankar's Emporium, as well as AeroGreen, a subsidiary of the Sime Darby Group for 'Lettucinno' which won several international agricultural awards worldwide including the EDB Innovation Award and a United Nations Award. Their innovation was featured in the April 2002 issue of the Fortune 500 Magazine. He also created an entirely new brand identity and brand market strategy for Avance, a division of the BestWorld Group which resulted in double-digit growth and Avance winning the Singapore Most Promising Brand Award 2004.

As a prominent speaker on business strategies, Kenneth has been invited to speak in various events such as Asian Business Forum, Pacific Conference, Global Franchising & Licensing, OPTIMAL, RITE & iDEAS! Kenneth also created the first judging criteria for the Inaugural Singapore Promising Brand Award in 2002 and was the brand advisor for this prestigious award. In 2004, he created a significant milestone for Berries World of Learning School (International) by setting up Asia's largest Chinese enrichment campus at Millenia Walk in Singapore at 10,000 sq ft. Kenneth is currently appointed as official advisor/consultant for several MNC/SME companies in Singapore and in the region.



MR TONY SEOW, Managing Director: Purple Sage Pte Ltd

Tony is Managing Director of Purple Sage Pte Ltd which prides itself that delivers one-stop solutions for catering events. Driven by a strong passion for food and hospitality, he started Purple Sage in Aug 2002. From a humble beginning of 5 staff and one office, he has grown the company to 15 full-time staff and 2 offices in less than one and a half year. The corporate segment now constitutes 80% of its business. In a relatively short time, Purple Sage has become the preferred vendor for Volvo, Citi, Temasek Holdings, Microsoft Singapore Pte Ltd, Prime Minister's Office, Singapore Telecommunications Ltd., and Pfizer Singapore Pte Ltd. In the same period, Tony has catapulted the company from a mere annual sales of S$360,000 to more than a million dollars revenue. As a start-up company, Purple Sage's outstanding achievements have captured the attention of the media. Recently, Purple Sage has been featured in HerWorld, the Singapore Marketing magazine, the Eat! Magazine, Wine & Dine magazine, Finder magazine and also Channel News Asia. Tony had devoted most part of his work life to the food and hospitality industry, with a strong focus on service quality, business development, and event management. Tony has achieved many successful milestones in his previous jobs. For example while working as a Guest and Quality Assurance Manager at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Indiana, USA, he successfully conceptualized and launched a new membership privilege program, the "Gold Passport High Tea. He was also awarded the Gold Seal by the South Western Company in Nashville, USA, for all-round outstanding sales achievement.


MR ROB STANLEY, Sales Director South Asia: DoubleClick International Asia B.V.

Rob has worked at senior levels in sales and planning in several leading Interactive Marketing technology companies, and currently leads DoubleClick Technologies in South Asia. He has helped many brands such as Citibank, ESPN, MTV, Singtel, StarHub, and Zuji among others, enabling them to utilize the online medium to target their customers in a less expensive way with better results. After selling his own consulting business in Canada he came to Asia with Vignette where as Sales Director, he launched the first office in Asia. His time in servicing local and Asian regional clients served to strengthen his appreciation and understanding of cross-cultural issues. Rob has worked with clients in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand and across North and South America. His personal mission is to play a leading role addressing the challenge of helping companies to utilize technology to build their brands and create a one-to-one dialogue with their customers.
